Vecotrade wants its website to be accessible to everyone, regardless of disability or the technology used. Our goal is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, guided by the European standard EN 301 549.

Self-assessment during development, September 2026

• Keyboard: Every function can be reached by keyboard and the focus is always visible. Open search with Ctrl + K or ⌘ + K.
• Skip link: “Skip to content” takes you straight to the main content.
• Reduced motion: If “reduce motion” is enabled on your system, we do without animations and scroll effects.
• Contrast: Text and controls are designed for a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 : 1 – in both light and dark colour schemes.
• Colour scheme: Light, dark or automatic according to your system setting.
• Language: All content in German, English and French; the language of every page is marked up.
• Structure: One main heading per page, a logical heading hierarchy, landmarks and labelled form fields with clear error messages.
• Zoom & mobile: Content remains usable at 200 % zoom and from 320 px width without horizontal scrolling; touch targets are at least 44 × 44 px.
• Media: Videos never start automatically with sound; external content only loads after consent.

• Interactive graphics such as plant diagrams and the project map convey some content visually. The key information is also available as text.
• Embedded Vimeo videos do not yet have captions or audio description.
• Some project photos are small and detailed; essential information is always given in the text as well.
• PDF documents in the downloads section are not yet fully accessible.
• The prototype has been spot-checked with current browsers and screen readers, but not yet tested comprehensively.
