In 2020 Vecotrade's entire technical team completed a training course on the Machinery Directive and risk assessment, specially adapted by the VDI.
The Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC governs how machines are designed, assessed and documented safely. From 20 January 2027 it will be replaced by the EU Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230.
For us, machine safety is not a formality at the end of a project: it is considered from the very first design – for new plants as well as for conversions and modernisations.
