01Is frame saw technology still up to date?
For many mills, yes. Modern oscillating frame saws achieve high feed rates and good surfaces and are robust in operation. Whether they are right for your assortment, we compare against band saw and reducer solutions.
02How does a frame saw differ from a band saw?
The frame saw cuts with many blades at once in a single pass; the band saw uses one blade – but with a cutting decision for each log. Frame saws excel with a uniform assortment, band saws with a changing one.
03Can existing frame saws be kept?
Existing frame saws can often be integrated into a modernised line, for example with a new infeed or outfeed. We check condition and installation on site.
